RakhiGifts.shop ("we", "us", "our") is operated from Shop No. BG-12 & 13, Rajiv Plaza, Main Rd, opp. Axis Bank, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh 495001, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights over it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when placing an order:

  • Name — to address and personalise your order
  • Phone number — to contact you on WhatsApp for customisation and delivery updates
  • Delivery address and pincode — to arrange shipping
  • UPI Transaction ID (UTR) — to confirm your payment
  • Customisation details (photos, names, messages, colour preferences) — collected via WhatsApp after payment, used solely to personalise your hamper

We do not collect credit or debit card numbers. Payments are made directly via UPI through your own banking app.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To confirm and fulfil your order
  • To contact you via WhatsApp for customisation details and delivery coordination
  • To resolve any disputes or support queries
  • To comply with legal and tax obligations

We do not use your information for marketing unless you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our website securely:

  • Cloudflare — provides website hosting (Cloudflare Pages), DDoS protection, and our order API (Cloudflare Workers). Cloudflare may process your IP address and request metadata as part of its network security services. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — used for order communication and customisation collection. When you contact us on WhatsApp, Meta's privacy policy applies to that conversation. See WhatsApp's Privacy Policy.
  • PostHog — used for website analytics, page views, clicks and product usage insights. PostHog may process device, browser, page URL and interaction data to help us improve the website. We have configured person profiles as identified_only.

We use analytics to understand website usage and improve the shopping experience. We do not sell analytics data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

  • Order records (name, phone, address, items, total, UTR) — retained for 7 years for business and tax compliance
  • WhatsApp customisation messages — retained until order is delivered and any return window has passed (up to 30 days after delivery)
  • IP address logs — retained for up to 60 days for security and fraud prevention, then automatically deleted

5. Cookies

PostHog may use cookies or local storage to measure visits and interactions. Cloudflare may set functional cookies (e.g. __cf_bm) as part of its bot protection service. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS). Our website enforces HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS). Order data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database protected by Cloudflare's enterprise-grade security infrastructure. Access is restricted to authorised personnel only.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Objection — object to processing of your data in certain circumstances

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
